Virgin Islands BritishThe Virgin Islands are a gaggle of small islands between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Some islands belong to america, and a few belong to the UK. The islands of the UK are referred to as the British Virgin Islands. They embrace Anegada <>, Jost van Dyke <>, Tortola, the Virgin Gorda islands, and different islands close by.

There are greater than 60 islands within the British Virgin Islands. They’ve a land space of fifty nine sq. miles (153 sq. kilometers). Vacationers go there to benefit from the lovely climate and seashores.

The Italian explorer Christopher Columbus got here to the islands in 1493. The British have managed the islands since 1672.
