Haiti could be very mountainous. A lot of the farmland is on the coastal plains and within the mountain valleys. The individuals develop espresso and cacao on the mountain slopes. Cacao seeds are used to make cocoa and chocolate. Sugar cane is a serious crop grown within the valleys.
