Transformed South Seashore hotel flies Wyndham flag

Wyndham Hotel Group reflagged the former Shelborne South Beach as the Shelborne Wyndham Grand South Beach, after the 74-year-old property underwent a $ 90 million renovation.

The 200-room property, which opened in 1940 and is located on Miami Beach’s Collins Avenue, includes four bars and restaurants, including one helmed by celebrity chef Masaharu Morimoto.

The hotel also features interactive Samsung TVs in the guestrooms.

The property also has a private beach club and about 15,000 square feet of meeting space.
