Loews to operate Minneapolis resort

Loews Lodges & Resorts will debut operations in the U.S. Midwest this summer time soon after achieving an agreement to acquire Minneapolis’s Graves 601 Resort Wyndham Grand from Graves Hospitality Corp.

The 255-room hotel, situated throughout the street from the Concentrate on Middle athletics arena, has much more than 9,000 square feet of conferences room. Loews, which didn’t disclose the purchase price tag, explained the transaction will near by early July.

Loews has been steadily expanding its North American existence because early 2012, when it explained it would commit far more than a 50 %-billion bucks obtaining and creating hotels in significant U.S. cities. The company, which has 20 North American qualities, bought hotels in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. in 2012 and acquired a Boston hotel previous calendar year. Loews also reopened New York City’s Loews Regency in January following a $ a hundred million renovation work.

Loews will also open up a Chicago lodge up coming yr.
