Kimpton to open up hotel in North Carolina

Boutique hotelier Kimpton Accommodations and Eating places will enter North Carolina when it opens a 211-room house next calendar year within of the historic R.J. Reynolds Building in Winston-Salem.

The eighty five-year-outdated constructing will be redeveloped by Philadelphia-dependent PMC Residence Group into a mixed-use website that will residence luxury condominiums on the greater floors.

The building, vacant since 2009, was developed by Shreve & Lamb. That firm then expanded to Shreve, Lamb & Harmon and created New York City’s Empire Point out Building.

The resort will have about six,four hundred sq. toes of meeting space and a a hundred and twenty-seat cafe and bar.
