The Duke is acquiring the royal treatment method this spring with the opening of the John Wayne Birthplace Museum in Winterset, Iowa. Born in Marion Robert Morrison in 1907, Wayne and his family moved to California all around age seven, stated the museum director Brian Downes.
Wayne turned a Hollywood icon, identified for his starring roles in dozens of westerns. He died in 1979.
