Nile River

Nile RiverThe Nile River is the longest river on the planet. It flows via Africa for four,one hundred sixty miles (6,695 kilometers). It flows north into the Mediterranean Sea from close to the equator <>. The equator is an imaginary line across the center of Earth. A number of the world’s greatest farmland is across the Nile. The river supplies water for the crops.

The Ruvironza River in Burundi is the Nile’s most southern supply, however Lake Victoria offers extra water. Two elements of the river, the White Nile and the Blue Nile, be a part of at Khartoum, Sudan. After that, the river is simply referred to as the Nile.

The Nile flooded yearly till 1968. Then the Aswan Excessive Dam at Aswan, Egypt, started working, and the flooding ended.
