Limpopo River

Limpopo RiverThe Limpopo <> River is a vital waterway in southeastern Africa. It flows for about 1,000 miles (1,600 kilometers). The Limpopo begins within the highlands. It separates the South African province of Limpopo from Botswana and Zimbabwe. Then it crosses Mozambique and empties into the Indian Ocean.

The Limpopo can also be referred to as the Crocodile River. The Lepelle River is the most important river that flows into the Limpopo.
